Artist in constant training
I have been enjoying learning the art of glass fusing for 20 years. After retiring I have started to do this "habit" full time and I am enjoying every piece of it.
I have been self taught through this journey with many downs along the way. I can say now the Ups outweigh the Downs.
My passion now is to try odd things that I have not seen made with glass fusing. I always think that if I am not pushing myself to learn and do something new there is no sense for me to do it.
Covid sent me into a different direction with painting with glass enamels onto the glass. Mostly they are seascapes or abstract. Once in a while I will throw in snow for a relaxing day.
I have been in juried exhibits in Artists Collective|Spartanburg, - Anderson Art Council and ArtFields in Lake City, SC.
I have been accepted and attended juried festivals in Ft Myers FL, Pendleton SC., Buffalo NY, Cape Coral FL, Hilton Head SC, Atlanta GA and Hendersonville NC.
I enjoy making commissions from peoples photos as well as making new things for upcoming festivals.
